What is Critical Illness?
-
A critical illness is a health-related condition -- such as a heart attack, stroke, invasive cancer or cancer in situ, major burns, and a number of other conditions -- where the patient has a good chance of surviving. Critical illness insurance, such as CRITICALanswer, provides a lump-sum cash benefit payable to the policy owner upon first diagnosis of a covered condition.

Multiple Payment Benefit Feature
Perhaps one of the most significant features of CRITICALanswer is the Multiple Payment Benefit. After diagnosis of a covered critical illness, even after payment of an initial claim, if you wish to keep coverage in force by continuing to pay premiums, this feature allows for multiple payments from three categories of covered conditions without further evidence of insurability or additional underwriting. You can receive a benefit payment on a second or even a third covered condition The total of the benefit payments can be up to three times the initial benefit amount. This feature is an inherent benefit of the policy and is provided at no additional cost.
